Management consultants provide advisory and implementation support services to organisations which want some assistance when faced with a challenging situation. These situations can arise across any functional discipline with an organisation and most consulting engagements will touch upon more than one discipline.
Consultants work in mixed consulting and client teams and work collaboratively to identify the key value drivers in a situation, generate solutions, and, if the case requires, facilitate the implementation of those solutions. Consulting engagements span anywhere from two weeks through to 12 months depending on the type of service and impact requested by the client. |
