simon-burtonSimon is a Director with Momentum Partners with fifteen years’ experience across strategy consulting, corporate finance and general management.

Simon specialises in strategy and commercial transformation. His expertise covers a wide range of different industries including natural resources, consumer goods, healthcare, and financial services. His clients have ranged from FTSE100/S&P500 firms to private wealth funds to family businesses. He had led projects across a wide spectrum of issues including growth strategy, M&A, post-merger management, organisational design, and sales & marketing strategy.

Prior to joining Momentum, Simon worked with McKinsey & Company in London, where he led engagements within the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice. He also ran his own consulting business in Europe for a number of years focusing on issues of strategy and business improvement. Simon was co-lead of Dresdner Kleinwort’s Consumer corporate finance group where he advised European and global clients on numerous mergers, acquisitions and stock market floatations. Simon began his career with Procter & Gamble where he was business leader across a number of global brands, followed by The Coca-Cola Company.

Simon has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Industrial Economics (Honours) from the University of Nottingham in the UK, and received the award for the best final year dissertation.
