Prior to joining Momentum, Darren worked with Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading international consulting firms in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and London. He has also worked previously in consulting and corporate advisory with Poynton & Partners in Perth.
Darren specialises in strategy and business transformation. His experience covers a broad range of industries including mining, energy, technology & telecommunications, private equity, and logistics. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies in technology, mining and energy. He has led projects across a wide spectrum of issues including growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business planning, performance improvement and private equity due diligence.
Recent engagements have included the development of the structuring and operational models to enable growth for an Australian iron ore miner as well as strategic business planning for resources companies including both asset owners and contract miners.
Darren has a Bachelor of Engineering (first class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. He is also on the Board of Goodcompany, a not-for-profit organisation whose vision is to make skilled volunteering an everyday part of professional life in Australia. |
