sabrina shuggSabina is a Manager at Momentum Partners and specialises in the mining industry.

Sabina’s extensive mining experience covers business improvement, organisational development, mine management, and management of technical studies. In addition, she has delivered technical and operational mining projects from conceptual design to project handover as well as operations management experience at senior site level covering both underground and open pit environments.

Prior to joining Momentum, Sabina held senior roles as a mine manager, engineer and consultant with some of Australia’s largest mining and mining consultant companies.

Sabina has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from the Western Australia School of Mines at Curtin University. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and holds a Western Australian First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.

Sabina founded and runs the Women in Mining and Resources WA group which has over 1,000 members. In March 2010, she was named the inaugural Women in Resources Champion in the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia Women in Resources Awards, for being an outstanding role model to people in the resources industry and the broader community.
